RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reached the mosque for the first time
Imam Dr. Ilyasi said that our DNA is the same, only the way of worship is different.
New Delhi. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat reached Imam House in Delhi on Thursday morning. This is the office of All India Imam Organization. Bhagwat stayed with Chief Imam Dr. Umar Ahmed Ilyasi for about an hour in the closed room of this mosque built on Kasturba Gandhi Marg. This is the first meeting of an RSS chief with the head of a Muslim religious organization at the mosque.
Dr. Ilyasi said that our DNA is the same, only the way of worship is different. The RSS chief had visited Madrasa Tajveedul Quran in North Delhi on his invitation. There he also met children. Imam, in response to a question, described Mohan Bhagwat as the father of the nation and the sage of the nation. He said that they had come on his invitation for a family function. He was accompanied by Sah Sarkaryavah Dr. Krishna Gopal, senior campaigners Indresh and Ramlal.
Chief Imam Dr. Omar Ahmed Ilyasi said that this is a very good thing and news. Everyone should think well about this meeting. This is a good message for the country. Mohan Bhagwat’s arrival at Imam House is a matter of good luck and happiness for all of us. Mohan Bhagwat is our national sage today. He is the father of the nation of this country. It is a pleasure for the Father of the Nation to come to us. I think that this message of love should be given to all of us. The RSS has recently increased contact with Muslims. During this, Mohan Bhagwat has met with the leaders of the community several times.

About 5 lakh Imams across the country are associated with the All India Imam Organization. The organization was established in 1976. The organization was created by Hazrat Maulana Umar Ahmed Ilyasi. At present, the Chief Imam of the organization is Hazrat Maulana Umar Ahmed Ilyasi.
On meeting Dr. Umar Ahmed, Sangh Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar told that this is a part of the normal dialogue process of the Sangh. A meeting was held with the Imams in Delhi to propagate the ideas of the Sangh and promote religious inclusion. It also discussed the Gyanvapi Mosque, the Hijab controversy and population control.
Maulana Arshad Madani, the leader of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind also met Mohan Bhagwat on 30 August 2019 after reaching the Sangh headquarters at Jhandewalan, Delhi. Then in November the Supreme Court’s decision on Ram temple was about to come. The Sangh chief was met by a five-member team of Muslim intellectuals. These included former MP Shahid Siddiqui, former Chief Election Commissioner SY Qureshi, former Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, former Aligarh Muslim University vice-chancellor Zameeruddin Shah and businessman Saeed Sherwani.
