Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Strict action will be taken against fake Khadims in Piran Kaliyar Dargah
The SDM has taken a strict step on the issue of illegal collection of fake Khadims from the pilgrims in Piran Kaliyar Dargah of Roorkee. Roorkee SDM Vijaynath Shukla has identified the dargah manager and instructed to take strict action against fake Khadims. Along with this, he has also said that I card is necessary for the employees posted on Dargah duty.
Roorkee SDM Vijaynath Shukla held a meeting with the officers and employees at the Dargah office regarding the arrangements for the Urs Mela. He also inspected the ongoing construction works here. Along with this, instructions were given to complete all the works in time. Encroachments have also been removed from some places. On the other hand, Roorkee SDM Vijaynath Shukla has also given instructions to the Dargah Manager Shafiq Ahmed to take action on the complaint of those who illegally extort from the pilgrims by becoming fake Khadim in the Dargah.
Shafiq Ahmed, the dargah manager, told that SDM Roorkee has given instructions to take action against those who illegally extort from the pilgrims by telling them the khadim of the dargah. Along with this, all the dargah employees have also been asked to carry their ID cards and do duty. Action will be taken against those without ID card by complaining to the police. Necessary guidelines have also been issued to the Dargah personnel.
