Jharkhand : Khaki has become stained! Police jawan raped animal, villagers beat up
Jagdish Kumar, a picket jawan established in Udaipur village of Ramkanda police station area of Garhwa district in Jharkhand, was tied up and beaten up by the angry villagers after he was caught raping livestock in the village late at night. At the same time, after the incident, the officers took action and suspended the accused jawan and sent him to Deoghar Headquarters. According to the information, Jagdish, a set of temporary picket set up in the middle school at around 10 o’clock on Wednesday night, had gone to Harwahi tola of the village under the influence of alcohol. Angered by this inhuman act, the villagers tied and beat him. At the same time, after the information, the other jawans of the picket somehow rescued him from the clutches of the villagers. Here on the morning of the incident, the agitated villagers informed about the whole matter to the officials including public representatives. After this a meeting was held with the villagers. During the meeting, the villagers demanded to take strict action against the said jawan as well as change the entire company immediately.
At the same time, there was talk of transfer of picket. Villagers said that the picket soldiers often roam in the village unnecessarily at night. After listening to the villagers, Mantu Kumar Sharma, in-charge of the station in-charge, spoke of action against the said jawan. At the same time, immediately gave assurance of transfer of the entire company and transfer of Pickett soon. Along with this, he talked about reining in the picket. During the meeting, Bissutri Block President Rajkishore Yadav, Lalmohan Paswan, Dheeraj Gupta, Tapesh Singh and others were present.
