Former Afghan President furious over Shahbaz Sharif’s statement in the United Nations, Taliban demands unconditional apology

Afghanistan is very angry over the speech given by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the UNGA. The Taliban and other Afghan leaders have reacted strongly to the allegations against Afghanistan. The Taliban has said that there is no presence of any armed group in Afghanistan. Sharif had said that Afghanistan is a safe haven for terrorists.

Taliban said apologizing to Shahbaz Sharif
The Taliban regime has demanded an unconditional apology from the Pakistani PM. Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai tweeted that Shahbaz Sharif’s statement about the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan at the UNGA is unfortunate and untrue. The reality is that the Government of Pakistan has been fostering terrorism against the people, culture and heritage of Afghanistan for decades. He also said that propaganda and use of extremism has been the nature of Pakistan.

Afghan accused of harboring terror
On the other hand, former President of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh said that the fight between a terrorist sponsor and a terrorist group is interesting. Perhaps this is an attempt to fool the world and show Pakistan army cleanly. He said that Pakistan is an expert in the art of making fools. Let us tell you, Pakistan shared the major concern of the international community regarding the threat posed by major terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan. In which he mainly mentioned Islamic State-Khorasan (ISIS-K) and Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), as well as al-Qaeda, East Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM) and Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.

Karzai showed the mirror to Pakistan
Showing a mirror to Pakistan, Karzai said that the remark was not correct. He said in a statement that Afghanistan has been a victim of terrorism and terrorist safe havens have been active under the Pakistani government in the country and are being used against Afghanistan for decades.
