Everyone has to face challenges in their life. Some people succumb to it. But there are many people who face all the difficulties firmly. Obviously the fruit of hard work is always sweet. The story of a mother from Noida is also similar. A mountain of troubles broke out, but this woman did not lose her courage. Today she drives an e-rickshaw by tying her child in her lap to run the house. This is the story of Chanchal Sharma of Uttar Pradesh. She drives an e-rickshaw with her one year old child on the streets of Noida (District Gautam Budh Nagar). Apart from her husband, she lives with her mother in Khoda Colony. But when his mother goes to sell vegetables, there is no one to take care of the child. This is the reason that when she drives a rickshaw, she takes her son along.

Travel is not easy

According to Chanchal, this challenge is not easy. But they have to do this to run the house. She also said that earlier she used to leave the child with her mother or sister. But this is not always possible. Now she leaves the child only 2-3 days in a month. He also recalled driving on the roads of Noida during the summer, but had no other option. He said, ‘The heat took a toll on him (the child). He used to cry as I was driving.

Carry a bottle of milk

Talking to the English newspaper Times of India, Chanchal said that she earns between Rs 600-700 a day. About half of this earning goes towards repaying the loan taken to buy e-rickshaw. She told that she always keeps a bottle of milk for the child. Chanchal runs her e-rickshaw between the National Institute of Biologicals in Sector 62 and Labor Chowk in Sector 59.
