According to the notification, all DMs, SSPs and SPs will be able to exercise the powers under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act if the ban is found to be in violation. It is known that the central government has banned PFI and its affiliates.
Many of its members have also been arrested. Under the authority given by the Center, the police and administration can immediately arrest people associated with banned organizations. Also their property can be confiscated.
