Uttarakhand : Now there will be no long queues of patients in hospitals, effective system will be developed for registration and tokenization in hospitals, CM Dhami gave instructions to the officers

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while taking a meeting of the Medical Education and Medical Health Department at the Secretariat, directed the officers that patients in hospitals do not have to stand in long lines for registration, for this, a system has been developed for online registration and token arrangement. In order to make Uttarakhand free from tuberculosis soon, public representatives and officials should be motivated to adopt tuberculosis patients. Ayushman cards issued for health facilities, golden cards, cards issued by the Labor Department and other health related cards should be brought on one platform for proper monitoring.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officers that awareness programs should be run by the Health Department through various means to make the public aware of the various schemes being run by the Central and State Governments in the field of health. The Chief Minister said that innovative initiatives are needed to improve health facilities in the hilly areas of the state, doctors should be motivated to work in remote areas. Every effort should be made to provide better health facilities to the local people up to the block and tehsil level. Such arrangements should be made that the birth certificate of the newborn child is issued from the hospital itself when he is born in the hospital. The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure that proper sanitation arrangements are made in all the hospitals. Patients get quality food in hospitals. He said that the outbreak of viral, dengue and malaria remains high after the rainy season, all necessary arrangements should be ensured in the hospitals to deal with it. Arrangement of regular fogging should be ensured in Municipal Corporation and Municipality areas. Special precautions should be taken in view of the festive season.
The Chief Minister directed the officers that to improve the health facilities, the construction work which is going on, the construction works which are getting delayed, strict stand should be taken against the concerned executing agencies and the respective responsibilities should also be fixed. He said that unnecessary delay in construction works also increases the cost. To make Uttarakhand a drug-free state by 2025, all departments will have to do well-planned planning. The Chief Minister said that for this a meeting should be held every month under the chairmanship of the Health Minister. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that equal arrangement should be made for patient registration fee in all the hospitals of the state. Best practices of other states will also have to be taken into account for providing better health facilities at the block level. In the meeting, the officials of the Health Department gave detailed information about various activities related to health in the state through presentation.
