Najibabad-Kotdwar passenger will be closed forever?

Passenger train running from Najibabad to Kotdwara will be closed permanently. This has been announced by the Railways on Thursday night. Railway’s new time table is going to be released from October 1. In this, the speed increase of 27 Mail Express and 14 Passenger trains has also been announced.

On Khurja Hapur railway section of Moradabad division, between Maman, Raja Ka Sahaspur-Sambhal Hatim Sarai, Hazratnagar and Sonakpur halts will be abolished. (14265-66) Janata Express will stop at Banaras Terminal in place of Varanasi and will depart from there. The speed of trains between Raiwala-Rishikesh and Virbhadra-Rishikesh has been increased to a maximum of 100 kmph.
