Petrol price in India stable for 132 days but changed in Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh

Crude oil prices have now come down to below $100 per barrel. Petrol-diesel prices in India have been stable for 132 days, while petrol has become cheaper in many countries. The average price of a liter of petrol in neighboring Nepal has been reduced to Rs 113.30 in Indian rupees on 26 September 2022 as compared to 20 June.
According to the rate released on globalpetrolprices.com on August 1, the price of petrol in Pakistan was Rs 75.89, now it has reached Rs 81.94 (INR) on 26 September. Whereas, in Bhutan it has come down from Rs 100.52 to Rs 82.18. If we talk about financially devastated Sri Lanka, the average price of a liter of petrol in Sri Lanka on June 20 was Rs 98.28, while on August 1 it was Rs 119.05. Now it reached Rs 121.37 on 26 September.
Average Rs 104 a liter in India
The average price of petrol (gasoline) worldwide is Rs 103.74 per litre. However, these prices vary greatly between countries. The difference in prices in different countries is due to different taxes and subsidies for petrol. Although the price of petrol in India is now beyond Rs 100 per liter in some cities only, but on an average it is selling at Rs 104.
Cheapest petrol in these 10 countries (26 September rates)
1) The average price of a liter of petrol in Venezuela was Rs 1.73 in August, which increased to Rs 1.81.
2) The name of Libya is second in terms of the cheapest petrol in the world. Here on August 1, the price of petrol was Rs 2.42 per liter, on September 26 it was also Rs 2.42.
3) The price of one liter of petrol in Iran was Rs 4.16 on August 1, which increased to Rs 4.36.
4) In Algeria also, a liter of petrol has now become Rs 26.72.
6) The price of one liter of petrol in Kuwait, one of the cheapest petrol selling countries, was Rs 26.66 on 20 June, now it has increased to Rs 27.60 from 26 September.
7) Petrol price in Angola is Rs 30.26.
8) Turkmenistan’s name comes in 8th place among countries selling cheap petrol. Here the cost of one liter of petrol is Rs 34.98.
9) Kazakhstan is at the 9th place among the countries selling the cheapest petrol. Here the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 35.80 per litre.
10) Nigeria is ranked 10th among the countries selling the cheapest petrol. Here the price of one liter of petrol is now Rs 35.89 from 26 September.
Countries selling the most expensive petrol
Hong Kong is at the top of the countries selling the most expensive petrol in the world, where a liter of petrol costs Rs 240.33. After this, there is Central African Republic where, Rs 179.83 has to be paid. On the other hand, petrol is available at Rs 179.83 in Iceland, Rs 172.47 in Barbados, Rs 165.05 in Norway, Rs 160.68 in Switzerland and Rs 159.03 in Denmark.
