Uttarakhand : CM arrived to meet Ankita’s family, Dhami again reiterated that Ankita’s culprits will not be spared, the family gets emotional after hearing
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today met the family members of Ankita Bhandari at Shrikot in Pauri and assured that the entire government stands with them. The Chief Minister said that the killers of Ankita would be given the harshest punishment while conducting a hearing in the fast track court. Today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Dobh Srikot village of Srinagar under Pauri district and met Ankita’s family members and consoled them. The Chief Minister said that our government is fully committed to provide justice to Ankita.
A SIT team has been constituted under the leadership of DIG P. Renuka Devi to investigate the matter, which has started its investigation. The Chief Minister said that the police have already arrested the three accused in this murder case and legal action would be taken against those whose role is under suspicion in the investigation. He said that no accused would be spared. During this, he also provided financial assistance to the victim’s family. During this, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, District Magistrate Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, SSP Yashwant Singh Chauhan, SDM Akash Joshi etc. were also present.
