Uttarakhand got the Most Film Friendly State Award, Dhami said film shooting will get encouragement

Uttarakhand received the Most Film Friendly State award at the 68th National Film Awards ceremony held in New Delhi. On behalf of Uttarakhand, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari received this award from President Draupadi Murmu. On receiving this award, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a matter of pride.
A matter of pride for Uttarakhand
After the ceremony, Director General of Information Tiwari said that the selection of Uttarakhand is a matter of pride for this award. Uttarakhand has received this award in a very short time, leaving behind other states. With this award, shooting of films in Uttarakhand will get more impetus. He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took many important decisions to encourage the film industry. Due to these decisions, a favorable environment was created for the filmmakers in the state. As a result of these efforts, today Uttarakhand was honored with the award at the national level.
No fee will be charged for shooting in the state
Tiwari said that on the instructions of the CM, the film policy of the state is being made more attractive. Clearance is being given for shooting under the single window system. No fee is also being charged for shooting in the state. The new film policy provides for a grant of up to Rs 1.5 crore. Police security is being provided during the shooting. One show a week in local cinema halls is mandatory for regional films so that more and more filmmakers come to the state and employment opportunities will increase at the local level.
