CM Pushkar Singh Dhami pays tribute to the martyred state agitators

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Muzaffarnagar on Sunday. Reaching the martyr’s site at Rampur Tiraha here, he paid tribute to the people who were martyred in the movement during the formation of Uttarakhand. During this, Minister of State Kapil Dev Agarwal and local BJP leaders welcomed him. At the same time, CM Dhami was honored with Kos Guard of Honour. At the martyr’s site, CM Dhami said that the martyrs can never be forgotten, the state government is committed to the welfare of the martyrs and other agitators in the movement.

Let us inform that 28 years ago, people going to Delhi to demand the formation of Uttarakhand were shot at Rampur Tiraha, in which seven agitators were martyred and Uttarakhand Shaheed Sthal was built on Rampur Tiraha itself. Every year the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand reaches there and pays tribute to the martyrs and on Sunday also, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the martyr site to pay tribute.
At the same time, after paying homage to the martyrs of CM Dhami, in the afternoon, on the occasion of International Non-Violence Day, Shri Digambar Jain participated in the program organized in Atishaya Kshetra Vahalna. After which CM Dhami boarded a helicopter from the police line Muzaffarnagar helipad at 2 pm and left for Dehradun.
