Mixed effect of Uttarakhand bandh, police ready in every corner

Various organizations and political parties have called a Uttarakhand bandh today to demand justice for Uttarakhand’s daughter Ankita Bhandari. The effect of which is being seen. Almost all business establishments are closed in Dehradun since morning. On behalf of the organizations, people are being appealed to keep business establishments closed in Gandhian way. During this, a procession rally was taken out from Gandhi Park to Ghantaghar on behalf of the organizations to make the bandh successful. During the rally, slogans like give justice to Ankita were raised.
Regarding the Uttarakhand bandh, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal patron BD Raturi says that the entire Uttarakhand is burning today due to the Ankita murder case. That is why the people of Uttarakhand have come out on the streets today, because people are demanding justice. He said that the harshest punishment should be given to the criminals. Apart from this, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal has raised the demand that a CBI inquiry should also be conducted in the UKSSSC paper leak case.
No significant effect of bandh is visible in Haldwani. Since morning, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal leader Sushil Uniyal and Devbhoomi Vyapar Mandal officials were seen calling on the traders to close the market. But it did not show any special effect in Haldwani. In view of the market bandh call, the police also appeared ready. The police called on the traders that there is no coercion to close the market, if any trader wants to open his shop, he can open it.
The police kept walking behind the protesters and tried to convince the traders. So at the same time some traders have given them full support for the market bandh and they demand that the traders will support them to get justice for the heinous crime like murder. Because many Ankita will be born inside the state of Uttarakhand, they should not have such a crime and the accused of Ankita murder case should be hanged.
The effect of bandh has been seen in Srinagar. The market remained closed in Srinagar but the trade union had also expressed dissent about the bandh. Vyapar Sabha President Dinesh Aswal expressed his protest by taking the bandh. A large number of various social organizations, students took out a procession in Srinagar and expressed their protest.
