Pakistan’s new maneuver, ISI trying to infiltrate Afghan terrorists in Kashmir
The challenge of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir is not diminishing. The internal report of the security forces mentions that the ISI is constantly trying to infiltrate terrorists into the Valley. In particular, efforts are being made to send Afghan terrorists to the valley so that if there is a major attack, then Pakistan itself can avoid taking responsibility. Sources associated with the security force said that a certain number of local and foreign terrorists remained in the valley. As soon as it goes below 200, there is an attempt from Pakistan side to infiltrate the valley by any means. The different numbers of local and foreign terrorists have not been given in the report.
Sources said that ever since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s intelligence agency is making constant efforts to send Afghan terrorists to the valley. Many times the movement of Afghan terrorists has been seen across the border. However, so far their efforts have not been very successful. Nevertheless, the agencies are working on counter strategy considering it as a big challenge for themselves.
An official said that we cannot give the exact number but after the developments in Afghanistan, the number of foreign terrorists has increased. The agencies have not given any information on how many Afghan terrorists are present in the valley. The sending of explosives by drones from Pakistan has also been considered a major challenge in the internal report. Tunnels in the border areas adjoining Pakistan are also a major challenge in the Valley. Security forces believe that the tunnel is also used to send weapons and drugs from across the border. “The way in which the consignment of arms and narcotics continues through drones, it is a big challenge,” said an official.
The security forces are confident that militancy in the Valley will not go out of control as the preparedness is too strong compared to the challenges. But due to the kind of new tactics being adopted, there is always a possibility of attack. The active members of the Jamaat at the local level in the Valley are helping to prepare a new batch of terrorists by spreading separatism and radicalism in a different way.
