Putin brings world closer to nuclear devastation, NATO warns of nuclear war, tension at peak

Responding to threats from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Western military alliance NATO has warned of nuclear war. Putin on Friday signed documents to merge four Ukrainian cities with Russia at an event in the Kremlin. During this, the speech he gave is being discussed all over the world. Now the situation has become the most tense since the Russian attack due to threats from NATO. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said Putin’s “shameful” occupation would not prevent NATO from extending its “unwavering support” to Ukraine. The NATO chief said Putin’s recent move has brought the world one step closer to nuclear catastrophe.

Stoltenberg told a press conference that Putin had mobilized millions of troops and now illegally took over Ukrainian territory. All this shows the highest tension since the start of the war. NATO reaffirms its unwavering support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. “We stand firm in our support for Ukraine as it defends itself from Russian aggression,” he said. US President Joe Biden has also said that the US will continue to provide military aid to Ukraine.

Ukraine’s help will continue
Biden said that we will continue to provide Ukraine with the equipment it needs to defend itself. Against the Russian occupation, he said that we will appeal to the international community to condemn these steps and hold Russia accountable. Putin on Friday formally annexed four Ukrainian cities of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya with Russia. He has also spoken of “using all means” to defend these areas, which is being seen as a threat to the use of nuclear weapons.

Putin showers on the West
In his speech, Putin targeted the West and the US in particular. He accused America of genocide and said that countries around the world were attacked by false accusations and killed millions. Putin said that Western countries looted India and now their eyes are on Russia. Commenting on the former leaders of Russia, he said that they have reduced their strategic power under the guise of America, while in other countries we maintain the same arsenal of weapons.
