Uttarakhand : Big blow to Congress after Panchayat elections, MLA Mamta Rakesh’s son and daughter join BJP

After the results of the Panchayat elections in the district, the Congress has suffered a major setback in the ongoing anti-defection campaign of the political leaders. Congress MLA Mamta Rakesh’s son Abhishek Rakesh and his daughter Ayushi Rakesh have joined the BJP from Bhagwanpur. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt and MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank got him the membership of the party at the BJP District Office in Jagjitpur located on Laksar Road. Let us inform that the daughter of Mamta Rakesh has been elected unopposed as a member of the Panchayat in the Panchayat elections. She is also contesting for the block chief from Bhagwanpur. MLA Adesh Chauhan, BJP District President Dr Jaipal Singh Chauhan etc. were present on this occasion. Let us inform that after winning 14 out of 44 seats in the district panchayat, the BJP engaged in manipulation has got a big success. So far 14 newly elected members have joined the BJP since the results were out.
Committee formed for the election of District Panchayat President and Block Chief
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt has constituted a committee for the election of Haridwar district panchayat president and block chiefs. According to state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chouhan, three types of committees have been formed for the election of district panchayat president. The core committee will prepare a panel of candidates. In this, the names of State Vice President Kuldeep Kumar, Haridwar District President Dr. Jaipal Singh, Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Rajya Sabha MP Kalpana Saini, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal and State General Secretary Khilendra Chaudhary are included. A committee has also been formed for district panchayat election management, in which names of Kuldeep Kumar, Dr. Jaipal Singh Chauhan, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former MLA Yatishwaranand, MLA Adesh Chauhan are included.
