Uttar Pradesh / Mathura : The officer was walking the dog in the government car! When the journalist took the photo, he twisted his hand, abused

A video has surfaced from Mathura district, in which the Assistant Municipal Commissioner is fiercely raging on a journalist who is driving a dog in the Civil Lines area while sitting in a T-shirt and half-pants in a government vehicle. According to the information, the journalist was trying to take a picture of the Municipal Commissioner walking the dog in a government vehicle. The District Magistrate has constituted a two-member inquiry committee to investigate the matter. At the same time, the Assistant Municipal Commissioner has also given a complaint in this matter in the Sadar police station. Meanwhile, the media cell of the Samajwadi Party (SP) has raised questions on the administrative system by tweeting this video.

It can be seen in the video that Raj Kumar Mittal, assistant commissioner of Mathura-Vrindavan Municipal Corporation, is seen asking the journalist in a very aggressive tone for what he took the picture of him and the dog. In the video, the journalist is seen saying that you (Assistant Municipal Commissioner) are walking the dog in a government vehicle during working hours, so I being a journalist can’t even take a picture? It can be seen in the video that the Assistant Municipal Commissioner became even more enraged when the journalist said this and started twisting his fingers with fingers. However, he left after persuading other journalists and general public present at the spot. Journalist Deepak Chaudhary, hurt by this abusive behavior of the Assistant Municipal Commissioner, informed all the media persons including the District Magistrate about the incident.

Chaudhary is a journalist for a Hindi daily published from Kanpur. On getting information about the incident with him, fellow journalists reached the District Magistrate Pulkit Khare to complain. Chaudhary said that after meeting the District Magistrate, he also gave a complaint to the police station in-charge in this regard. On the other hand, the District Magistrate has constituted a two-member inquiry committee to probe the incident. The committee has been directed to complete the investigation of the matter in three days and submit the report to the District Magistrate.

On the other hand, the accused Assistant Municipal Commissioner Mittal says that he was taking two children of dog and cat caught a few months ago to the hospital located at Veterinary University for vaccination. Mittal said that while returning, a youth started taking his picture in the Civil Lines area and when they tried to stop the youth, he started running. According to Mittal, the youth was apprehended at some distance and on being asked, he introduced himself as a journalist. He has given a complaint in this matter in Sadar police station.

Sharing this video, the media cell of SP has tweeted, ‘Yogiji! Send someone from Lucknow, who walks and walks the dog of these sahib, cleans the dog’s potty. Your officers are busy walking the dog, leaving administrative work. This negligence and hooliganism of a government official at a very sensitive and global tourist destination like Vrindavan is unforgivable.
