Uttarakhand : Chief Minister Dhami performed Kanya Pujan on Navami festival
On Tuesday, on the occasion of Navami of Shardiya Navratri, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Kanya Pujan by law at the Chief Minister’s residence. He fed the nine girls symbolizing the nine Durgas. The Chief Minister also prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state and the people of the state from Mother Siddhidatri, the provider of pure intellect and eight siddhis. Here Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri also worshiped the girls on the occasion of Navami of Navratri.
