Uttarakhand : 25 killed in Pauri bus accident, CM announces compensation, orders for magisterial inquiry into accident, CM reaches hospital to know the condition of victims
A bus carrying about 46 to 50 people fell into a gorge in Birkhal area of Pauri Garhwal. 25 people have died in the bus accident. Today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and former Chief Minister and Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank reached Simdi village to take stock of the bus accident site (CM Dhami reached Pauri bus accident spot). Government announced compensation
The Uttarakhand government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased in both the Pauri Garhwal bus accident and the Uttarkashi avalanche disaster. An ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh each for the seriously injured and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been announced.

Magisterial inquiry order
DM Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande has also issued orders for a magisterial inquiry into the bus accident. According to the administration, the bus in the bus accident belonged to the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam. The bus was registered with Haldwani RTO. DM Pauri said that according to the special report sent by the Registrar, Kanungo Rikhnikhal, on October 4, the bus number of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam. UK 04 PA -0501 crashed near Simdi. According to the report, the accident happened on the outskirts of Khatli village of Simdi Patti. DGP confirms 25 deaths
