Uttarakhand : In Pauri Bus Accident 25 killed, 21 rescued, reached the spot to take stock, CM Dhami

There has been a major road accident in Uttarakhand. A bus carrying about 45 to 50 people fell into a gorge in Birkhal area of Pauri Garhwal district. 25 people have died in the bus accident. Police and SDRF have rescued 21 people by running a rescue operation. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals. Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar has confirmed this. According to the information, a bus full of baraatis went out of control and fell into the valley of the East Nayar river near Simdi on the Kotdwar-Rikhnikhal-Birokhal road. The accident happened at 7 pm on Tuesday. There were more than 45 baratis in the bus. Throughout the night, the police and SDRF launched a rescue operation.
CM Dhami reached the spot
CA Pushkar Singh Dhami took charge as soon as the accident was reported. They reached the State Emergency Operation Center located at the State Secretariat in the night itself. He inquired about the accident from the officials posted there. At the same time, this morning he reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
President Draupadi Murmu expressed grief over the incident. He tweeted, “Saddened by the accident of many casualties after the bus fell into the valley in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this accident. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.
