Uttarakhand : Under the Ayushman card, the sword hangs on the list of hospitals that have imposed fake bills, the Chief Secretary gave these instructions in the meeting of the State Health Authority

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Under the chairmanship of Sandhu, a meeting of the second government meeting of the State Health Authority, Uttarakhand was held in the secretariat. Various proposals were approved in the meeting. The Chief Secretary said that 100 percent saturation should be done under Ayushman Bharat, Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana. Government identity cards like Aadhar card or Voter ID card should be allowed for those whose Ayushman cards are not being made due to lack of ration card. For this, he also directed to prepare an effective system for redressal of public grievances.

The Chief Secretary directed to continuously impose fines on the hospitals which have made bogus bills and to de-list the hospitals and said that the list of the hospitals which are being de-listed, should be publicized through newspapers. He also directed the officers to make the OPDs fully computerized. Also, said that a policy should be prepared to promote hospitals in the hilly areas of the state. On this occasion Chairman State Health Authority D.K. Kotia and other officials were present.
