According to sources, the Vigilance can take the other accused including these named people in their custody anytime. However, the nominated people, including the inspectors associated with this rigging, have made up their mind to go to the court for their defense. It is being told that there are more than 35 such inspectors who cannot even write their case diary properly.

The STF has given the names of about 15 out of these to the Vigilance. Now many names can come up in the Vigilance investigation. SP Vigilance Prahlad Singh Meena said that the action in the matter has been taken on the basis of complaints of irregularities. Investigation is going on now. How many inspectors have been wrongly recruited, it is still a matter of investigation. Further action will be taken after investigation.

There was a mistake in the OMR sheet
In the investigation of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case, rigging in other recruitment examinations was also exposed, including the direct recruitment of 356 constables in the police department in the year 2015. This recruitment was rigged through manipulation in the OMR sheet. In the matter, the government had ordered Vigilance to investigate on September 8, after which an eight-member team, led by SP Vigilance Prahlad Meena, reached Pantnagar on September 13, after meeting the Vice Chancellor, Recruitment Cell (formerly Test and Selection) located at Lambert Square. Committee Cell) till 10 o’clock in the night, the documents related to this recruitment were scrutinized, in which Vigilance also got important evidence related to rigging in the recruitment of Inspector. Along with this, Dinesh Chandra Joshi, the retired assistant founding officer of the university, who was arrested by the STF earlier, had also revealed the names of other officers and employees involved in the rigging of recruitment examinations, on the basis of which the Vigilance, after getting permission from the government on Friday, along with two officers of the university. A named FIR has been registered against 12 people.

There were allegations earlier also, did not take cognizance
In the year 2006, the Test and Selection Committee of Pantnagar University, constituted by the government, had conducted an estimated 85 recruitments of various departments of the state during its period of about ten years. Many recruitments organized by the committee came under the purview of controversies but the government did not take any cognizance. Similarly, in the year 2016, the committee had also organized recruitment on 93 posts of assistant accountants in the university, in which there was an allegation of giving appointment by taking 10 lakh rupees from the favorites. After the matter came to light, the committee tampered with the answer sheet on the net to prove itself correct, which disturbed the results of all the candidates who appeared in that series. The investigation officer appointed by the government had caught the rigging, but that investigation was suppressed in the university, after which this recruitment was conducted by UKSSSC in the year 2021, in which there was a complaint of rigging again and despite the matter being pending in the court. Selected 87 candidates were given appointment in the university. Sources claim that many of the 87 assistant accountants appointed in the university do not even know typing.
