Such was the disclosure of fraud
According to media reports, Sudhir Kumar Singh is posted as SDM in Amroha district. Recently, a meeting of the Road Safety Committee was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate BK Tripathi at the District Headquarters (District Magistrate Office). A member present in the meeting gave startling information related to the SDM’s car parked in the premises to the officials. Everyone was stunned to hear this. All the officers immediately reached the SDM’s car.
The number was missing from the number plate of the car
A letter was missing on the number plate of SDM’s Innova car. When this number was entered on the transport app, the vehicle turned out to be a Bolero vehicle registered in the name of a woman in Moradabad. Apart from this, the fitness of the vehicle, permit, pollution were expired. There was a stir when so many flaws were found in the gazetted officer’s vehicle. The ARTO Parivartan present on the spot cut the vehicle’s challan of 26 thousand five hundred rupees.
Action order after investigation
At the same time, the District Magistrate has handed over the investigation of the matter to the ARTO. Investigation revealed that a contractor had installed this vehicle in the department at government expense. The officials have ordered action against the contractor. Also, contrary to the rule, the officer’s vehicle was written in Hindi. After checking with the erased number, it was found that the registration of the vehicle was correct. People say that the whole matter is open due to having a single word. By the way, despite the registration being correct, many more flaws were found in the vehicle, for which a long challan was deducted.
