In Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday, a BDS second year student attempted suicide by jumping from the fourth floor. The condition of the girl student is still serious. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is being told that 20-year-old Vania, studying in Swami Vivekananda Subharti University located on NH-58, jumped down from the fourth floor of the medical library. After coming to the notice of the matter, the police has started investigating the matter. Police are trying to find out why the student has taken such a step. For this, the police is also checking the CDR and CCTV footage of the student’s mobile.

Admitted in college hospital
Giving information, SHO Rajesh Kamboj said that Vania Lisadi is the daughter of Asad Shami, a resident of Gate Rashid Nagar. Preliminary investigation has revealed that she was sitting in the medical library shortly before this incident. After this she went to the fourth floor of the library and suddenly jumped down. During this, other students present in the campus saw Vania jumping from the fourth floor of the library. It is being told that after the incident, he was admitted to the hospital of the college itself.
University administration is helping the police in the investigation
After getting information about the incident, Vania’s family members also immediately reached the hospital. During police interrogation, he told that he does not even know the reason behind this incident. The police also tried to get information from Vania’s friends on this matter but apparently no one could tell anything. Jani SO Rajesh Kamboj told that according to the doctors, there is a lot of clotting in the brain of the student. In addition to two fractures in the spine, there is a possibility of fractures in the arms and legs. Subharti University’s media coordinator Anam Sherwani said prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide. But why did the student take such a step, the Subharti management is also investigating it. Along with this, full cooperation is also being given to the police in the investigation.
