On the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh government, a survey of madrasas is being conducted, while some district officials also sent the report to the government, a big disclosure has come to the fore in the report. In fact, Darul Uloom Deoband, the country’s largest Muslim education institution, is also not registered in the Uttar Pradesh Minorities Department. The 156 year old madrasa is registered under the Societies Act. While there are around 4500 madrasas attached in the country. It is from here that fatwas are issued for the respective madrasas in the country. According to the survey issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, 360 madrasas in Saharanpur have been received unaided from the government. The district officer said that on the instructions of the government, a survey of madrasas in the district is being conducted. The survey was started by forming teams at the tehsil level. The survey work started in the district from September 10. He said that the report has to be known to the government by November 15. In this, point-wise survey report is being prepared on the curriculum of madrasas, year of establishment, founder, governing institution, number of students, government help to madrasas and number of teachers. The report of the remaining madrasas will soon be sent to the government level.

Arshad Madani held a conference on the instructions of the Yogi government to conduct a survey of unaided madrassas. He said that it is the right of the government to conduct survey of madrasas. There is no illegal activity inside madrassas. It is the responsibility of the government to find out. He said that whatever shortcomings are there in unrecognized madrassas should be completed after their survey. Darul Uloom Deoband He said that the people running the madrasa need not be afraid and panic about the survey. During the survey, cooperate with the government in the investigation. Whatever is lacking in the madrasa will be filled.
