Himachal Pradesh : Congress made Dr. Pushpendra Verma the candidate from Hamirpur
Congress’s Central Election Committee (CEC) has fielded Dr. Pushpendra Verma from Hamirpur assembly seat. Dr. Verma is currently on the post of General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Medical Association. CEC has issued a letter announcing the nomination of Dr. Pushpendra Verma from Hamirpur.
According to the information, a letter in this regard has been issued by the General Secretary of Congress CEC, Mukul Wasnik. Dr. Verma is currently serving as Health Officer in Hamirpur. Congress has given him a ticket just before the nomination for this seat today. Today is the last day of nominations.
Let us tell you that earlier in Hamirpur, there was a problem in deciding the Congress candidate. Ashish had announced to contest as an independent. State Congress President Pratibha Singh and election campaign committee president Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu remained stuck in deciding the candidate in Hamirpur due to lack of consensus.
