The police officers were upset after removing the chickens

The people of the village tell that it has been going on like this for hundreds of years. These chickens do not harm anyone and also guard the police station. Even in the time of the British, these chickens live here. Nothing does much harm to these chickens. Whoever comes to see them also brings something or the other. Villagers say that 40 years ago, a police station named DM Ojha was posted here. As soon as they came, they removed the chickens from here. Alam was that Baba did not allow him to stay here. When DN Ojha used to sleep at night, Baba used to beat him with whips and used to throw him down from the bed. After this, DN Ojha went to the market and bought a lot of chickens from there. Only then could his life be saved.

The wife had died after killing the chicken

Ramlot, the watchman of the police station, says that all the people here protect the chickens from the animals and also take care of their food and drink. Ramlaut says that elders often used to say that a Thanedar had come here long ago who had killed and ate chickens. His wife died the very next day. Since then, no one kills the chickens nor is they harassed. He freely roams around the police station premises.
