A shocking video has surfaced from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. Instead of helping a seriously injured girl, the people standing there were busy making videos of her. This girl was missing and was found several hours later in an injured condition outside the government guest house. The girl had injuries on her head and body. But the people present there started making videos instead of taking him to the hospital. In the 25-second video, it can be seen that the injured girl raised her hand and sought help. But the people standing there were busy making videos of him on mobile phones. In the video, a man is also heard asking whether the police has been informed, while others are seen asking for the police chief’s number. But during this time a video of the girl was also being made and no one came forward and made no effort to help.

The girl continued to suffer in pain till the arrival of the police. In another video, which has gone viral, a policeman is seen running towards the autorickshaw with the injured girl in his lap. Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam Singh said in a statement, “The minor was found in an injured condition and was taken to the hospital for treatment by the local police.” News agency PTI quoted the top official as saying that she had gone out on Sunday to buy a piggy bank, but did not return home. He said that the guest house guard first saw him moaning in pain and informed the police.

A youth was apparently with her and they were seen in the footage of the camera installed in the guest house. His identity is being traced. The official said rape could not be confirmed as the medical report is yet to come. The girl has been referred to Kanpur for treatment. A case has been registered based on the complaint of the girl’s family. No one has been arrested.
