Rishi Sunak, who is proud to be a Hindu, gave his first speech by tying Kalava

Rishi Sunak will be the first Indian-origin Prime Minister of Britain. After the resignation of Liz Truss, Conservative Party lawmakers chose Rishi Sunak as their new leader in the Tory leadership election. Penny Mordont, who stood in front of Rishi in the party’s election, received the support of very few MPs, after which she excluded herself from the race for the post of PM.

Rishi Sunak, who created history by becoming the first Hindu Prime Minister of the UK, gave his first speech at 10 Downing Street (Britain Prime Minister’s residence) after winning the election. During this, Kalawa or Mauli was seen tied on the wrist of Rishi Sunak. Special importance of Kalava (Rakshasutra) has been given in Hinduism. It is also tied after completing worship or other religious activities. The most important thing is that Sage Sunak may have lived in Western civilization, but he has a special attachment to his religion.

Outspoken about his affiliation with Hinduism
In the year 2017, when Rishi Sunak Britain was included in his cabinet by the then Prime Minister Theresa May, at that time Rishi Sunak had said a special thing about his religious belief.  Rishi Sunak had said that he is now a British citizen, but his religion is Hindu.  Rishi Sunak had said that his religious and cultural heritage is Indian.  Rishi Sunak had said, ‘I proudly say that I am a Hindu and being a Hindu is my identity.’

In the year 2020, when Rishi Sunak became the Finance Minister of Britain, he took oath by placing his hand on the Bhagavad Gita.  Rishi Sunak, while being the Finance Minister, had said that lighting diyas for Diwali outside 11 Downing Street in November 2020 was the proudest moment of his life.

In August 2022, the current PM Boris Johnson resigned due to allegations of corruption.  After which, when the name of Rishi Sunak came in the discussions for the claim, then at that time Rishi Sunak was seen doing cow worship in London.  There was also a dispute regarding the cow worship of Rishi Sunak and many leaders also targeted him.

The joy of Rishi Sunak’s victory in India
The day Britain got its first Indian-origin Hindu PM, the whole world including India was celebrating Diwali.  After the victory in the election of Rishi Sunak’s party, India was also celebrated with great joy.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated Rishi Sunak by tweeting as soon as the name was announced and expressed the hope of working together in future.  At the same time, Indian media also described Rishi Sunak’s victory in different ways as special for India.

Rich Indian Hindu in-laws of Rishi Sunak
Rishi Sunak is also married to an Indian girl Akshata Murthy. Akshata is the daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy and is a fashion designer by profession. Rishi and Akshata met while studying at Standford University.

The two married in 2009 in Bangalore, India, according to Hindu rituals. Rishi Sunak is Britain’s first Hindu PM as well as the richest PM. The net worth of Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murthy is around $825 million, which is more than the net worth of King Charles of England.

The ‘filmy’ story of Rishi Sunak becoming PM
The way power has taken a turn in Britain in the last two months, it is no less than a film story. However, it started with the resignation of Boris Johnson less than two months ago.

In fact, when the Boris Johnson government was accused of corruption, he resigned from his post. Now it was time to choose the Conservative Party as its new leader. Former UK Foreign Minister Liz Truss and former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak went face to face for the post of PM.

Liz Truss was elected Prime Minister by winning a majority of Conservative MPs and Rishi Sunak lost the election. Liz Truss became Prime Minister and had to resign from her post within 45 days. In fact, Liz Truss was badly hit on the economy front and when she was left with no option, she thought it better to resign.

After the resignation of Liz Truss, Rishi got a chance once again. After this, Rishi Sunak remained strong in the PM claim from the beginning. He got more strength when Boris Johnson was out of the electoral race before the party elections.  After which only Penny Mordont was left in the collision of Rishi.
