Banks to remain closed for 10 days in November

If you have any work in the bank, then settle it immediately. In the next month i.e. November, banks are going to be closed for 10 days. Out of this, six are Saturdays and Sundays and the remaining four days will be holidays. Earlier in October, banks were closed for 21 days. According to the Reserve Bank of India, all these holidays will be ‘under the Negotiable Instruments Act’. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) divides holidays into three categories. Here we are going to give you the complete list of bank holidays. You will not have any problem with this. You must check this list before going to the bank. So that when you go to the bank, all your work gets done.

  • 1 November Karnataka Foundation Day is celebrated on this day. Banks in Bangalore and Imphal will remain closed on this occasion. Banks in all other circles will remain open on November 1. Don’t go to the bank if you live in these places.
  • November 8 – Banks will remain closed in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Dehradun and Hyderabad on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima. On the other hand, banks in other circles including Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar will remain open.
  • November 11 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Shillong on the occasion of Kanakadas Jayanti/Vangala Mahotsav. Apart from this, banks will remain open in other places.
  • November 13 – Banks will remain open in all circles except Shillong due to Seng Kutsnem. Banks will remain closed only in Shillong during this period.
  • Apart from these, banks will also remain closed on Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays – November 6, November 12, November 13, November 20, November 26 and November 27. No bank work will be done on these dates.

You can check this list by visiting the official website of the central bank RBI. If you have to do important work in the bank, then you should settle it 1 day in advance.
