Dhami gave his consent, transfer happened at many places in Uttarakhand

After the approval of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand government has changed the district magistrates of Pauri, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar and the police captains of Haridwar and Chamoli. IAS Ashish Kumar Chauhan will be the new District Magistrate of Pauri and Reena Joshi Pithoragarh. Late on Friday evening, Additional Secretary Personnel Lalit Mohan Ryal made these orders for reshuffle in the District Magistrates. These transfers were made when Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has gone to attend a two-day contemplation camp organized by the Home Ministers in Surajkund, Haryana. Sources said that his verbal consent has been taken. Ashish Chauhan, who was the District Magistrate of Pithoragarh, was given important responsibility as the DM of Pauri, while the outgoing DM of Pauri, Vijay Kumar Jogdande has been kept in a bound waiting list.
In the Ankita Bhandari murder case, the government was also scolded for the statements of Pauri District Magistrate Jogdande. While Bageshwar DM Reena Joshi has been given the responsibility of Pithoragarh. Anuradha Pal, Chief Development Officer of Pithoragarh will be the new District Magistrate of Bageshwar.
On the other hand, the Home Department has ordered the transfer of Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Yashwant Singh Rawat and Chamoli Police Captain Shweta Choubey. IPS Yashwant Rawat has also been placed in the bound list. At the same time, Choubey, who was the SP of Chamoli, has been given important responsibility as the SSP of Pauri. Choubey has been given this reward for efficient police management during the recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Badrinath.
