Rajasthan / Bundi: This sin of the father, cannot be forgiven! Daughter sold to relative for Rs 15 lakh, accused father and buyer arrested
A case of embarrassment to the relations has come to the fore in the district. Here, in the greed of money, a father sold his minor daughter to a relative. After this the minor was sold by the relative in Mumbai for prostitution. In this case, the daughter’s mother had lodged a police station report. While investigating the police, the accused father and the buyer have been arrested. Police is gathering more information by interrogating the accused in the case.
The matter is of Dablana police station area of Bundi district. In this regard, the minor’s mother had given a report to the Dablana police station in May last, in which it was said that the daughter’s disappearance. Taking action on this, the police has exposed the whole matter. SHO Rameshwar Chaudhary of Dablana police station said that a 16-year-old minor living in a village in the police station area was sold by his father to a relative of Sawai Madhopur resident (father sold minor daughter for 15 lakh rs) for Rs 15 lakh.
After this, the accused relative came to sell the teenager for prostitution in Mumbai. In this case, after the complaint of the minor’s mother, the police investigated through technical research and other methods, in which it came to light that the teenager was in Mumbai. After this, the teenager was handcuffed from Mumbai in September. He was kept in the shelter home after being produced before the Child Welfare Committee. After this the statement of the teenager was registered in which he accused his father of selling daughter in Mumbai for prostitution and told that he had sold her for the greed of money only to send her into the quagmire of prostitution. His deal was done with his own relative. In this case, the police is taking further action along with adding other sections including the POCSO Act.
