Uttarakhand : The struggle for the winter session started even before the all-party meeting

The winter session of the Vidhan Sabha will be held in Dehradun or in Gairsain, a decision will be taken in the all-party meeting to be held on 31. But, politics has intensified on this issue. The Congress has attacked the government, accusing it of ignoring Gairsain. Party’s state president Karan Mahara says that when the summer session could be organized there in the summer, then the government made it an excuse for Chardham Yatra and got it organized in Dehradun. Now in winters when it is extremely cold and snowy, then the government is talking about holding a winter session in Gairsain. He said that this is just an attempt to rob accolades.

There is no place for the fourth class personnel and police personnel to stay there. In such a situation, they should not be tortured by calling a session there in the cold. If the government has to hold a session in Gairsain, then first arrangements should be made there. He said that instead of making a mockery in the name of session in Gairsain, the government should call the next session in Dehradun itself.

Government should declare Gairsain as permanent capital

PCC President Mahra said that if the government has the will, then declare Gairsain as a permanent capital. Gairsain corresponds to the concept of hill state. The state building movement was also fought keeping Gairsain at the center. With Dehradun being the capital, the mountain is not getting any benefit.

When will all party meeting be called for capital Gairsain: Harish Rawat
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that the clever diplomatic statement of the Speaker has come to the fore. In which it has been said that whether the winter session is in Gairsain or in Dehradun, an all-party meeting will be called for this. He said that Chief Minister Dhami should also be told when the all-party meeting is being called for when the capital will be shifted to Gairsain. Uttarakhand is curious to know this.
