Muslim Development Council warned

Extending his support to Bhutto, Sami Aghai, president of the All India Muslim Development Council, said that the central and state governments were misusing government agencies like the ED, CBI and Income Tax to harass opposition party leaders and their supporters.

Part of BJP’s campaign

Aghai further said that the raid on the HMA group also appears to be a part of that campaign by the BJP. Even though the raids may not yield anything substantial to warrant such a massive operation involving teams from multiple cities, they will certainly instill a sense of dread.
