Delhi : Sisodia surrounded by telling Satyendra Jain’s massage as a cure; IAP slams AAP minister, demands apology

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is facing questions after a video of Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain allegedly getting a massage inside Tihar Jail went viral. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia objected to calling this massage as physiotherapy and demanded an apology for it.
The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) has denied claims that jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain was given physiotherapy and has also demanded an apology for the ‘humiliating physiotherapy’. The IAP’s reaction comes after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s claim on Saturday that the viral CCTV footage of Satyendar Jain giving him a full body massage was physiotherapy to treat his injury.
Let us inform that, in a viral video on social media on Saturday, Satyendar Jain is seen lying on the bed inside the jail and getting foot, back and head massages. Satyendar Jain, 58, is in jail under judicial custody on charges of money laundering. In the video, Jain can be seen reading some papers while a man in white is seen massaging his feet.
Taking a dig at the minister, the Indian Association of Physiotherapists tweeted on Saturday, “IAP strongly condemns the minister’s statement comparing physiotherapy with massage given to another minister. Education for them about our noble profession.” and shows the level of knowledge.”
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday accused the BJP of leaking video of AAP minister Satyendar Jain from Tihar Jail and claimed that he was undergoing physiotherapy due to a spinal injury. Accusing the BJP of resorting to cheap tactics, Sisodia said that Jain had fallen inside the jail. Sisodia had said that Jain had suffered a spinal injury and even underwent two surgeries. Doctors had advised him for physiotherapy when he was discharged from the hospital and in those videos he is seen undergoing physiotherapy.
Satyendar Jain moves court against ED in Tihar video leak case
Jailed minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday moved a court here seeking contempt proceedings against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly “leaking” a CCTV footage from inside Tihar Jail to the media. In this video, Jain can be seen getting massage inside the jail.
Special Judge Vikas Dhall issued notice to the ED on Jain’s plea and asked him to file a reply by Monday. In his petition, Jain accused the ED of leaking the CCTV footage, saying that despite the promise made in the court that no material related to the case would be given to the media, it was not followed through.
Earlier this week, a superintendent of Tihar Jail was suspended for his alleged involvement in providing special treatment to Jain in the jail. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had claimed in a Delhi court that Jain was being given special treatment inside Tihar Jail.
