Now the mountains of Uttarakhand will be seen higher than tall buildings, the government made this plan
In the hilly areas of Uttarakhand, the path of tall buildings can be easy. For this, the government is preparing to change the building bylaws. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday, discussions were held on construction of tall buildings under development in hilly areas. It was said in the meeting that there are no tall buildings in the hilly areas. The second discussion took place that from the point of view of earthquake, it would be effective to build tall buildings in mountainous areas. Therefore, it has been decided in the cabinet meeting that a proposal should be prepared in this regard after study. It will be placed in the next meeting. The government will make a policy for this.
Land will not be mortgaged in residential projects
Now 15 percent land will not have to be mortgaged in the residential projects of the state. The cabinet has approved the Uttarakhand Housing Policy (Amendment) Rules 2022 for changes in this. Till now, in the residential projects that were built, there was a provision to mortgage 15 percent of the total land in the authority, apart from building houses for EWS or depositing funds in lieu thereof. It was discussed in the cabinet that, on the one hand, all the PM housing projects are coming up in PPP mode, in which only EWS buildings are to be built. Second, the developer has to face difficulties due to the mortgage of 15 per cent of the land. Therefore, the cabinet has decided that after this 15 percent amount will have to be mortgaged in the form of bank guarantee.
