Early morning accident
A big accident took place in Varanasi at around 7 am on Saturday morning when a boat full of passengers suddenly started sinking in front of Ahilyabai Ghat. After knowing about the sinking of the boat in the Ganges, there was a hue and cry. After the screams, police and rescue teams along with local boatmen also reached the spot. Due to the serious condition of two people in this incident, they were immediately admitted to Kabir Chaura Divisional Hospital.

Two in critical condition
According to local boatmen, all the passengers are from South India. At the same time, after this accident, the sailor has escaped from the spot. The police also reached the spot to take stock of the situation and inquired about the tourists. After the condition of both of them became serious in the accident, they were admitted to the hospital in a hurry. Seeing the critical condition of a devotee in this, the doctors of the Divisional Hospital have referred him to BHU. The treatment of the second patient is going on in the divisional hospital.

Police commissioner took stock
Varanasi Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh interacted with the victims after the boat accident. Told that all the victims are residents of Rajahmundry district of Andhra Pradesh. Talking to Shri Venkateswara present with the group, inquired about everyone’s condition. Talked to the doctors of BHU for the treatment of the injured. Told that relief and rescue work was started immediately by the police administration with the help of divers. The commissioner assured that all possible help would be provided.
