Uttarakhand government made Prasoon Joshi the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand, chairman of the censor board, first book written at the age of 17

The Dhami government has appointed noted poet, writer, lyricist and chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification Padma Shri Prasoon Joshi as the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand. Secretary Culture HC Semwal has authorized Director General Culture to edit the work related to the signing of MoU with Joshi in this regard.
Secretary Culture issued orders in this regard
A proposal to make Padma Shri Prasoon Joshi the brand ambassador of the state was recently sent to the government. On Friday, Secretary Culture issued orders in this regard. In a letter sent to the Director General of Culture, he has given instructions that the government should be informed about the signing of the memorandum of understanding with lyricist Joshi soon.
Prasoon Joshi honored with Uttarakhand Gaurav Award
According to the letter, Joshi being the brand ambassador of the state, whatever services will be taken by the government and the financial liability will be decided separately. It is worth mentioning that on November 9, on the occasion of State Foundation Day, the government had awarded Prasoon Joshi with the Uttarakhand Gaurav Award.
Wrote the first book at the age of 17
Prasoon Joshi was born on 16 September 1971 in Mohalla Sunrakot, Almora city. His family originally belongs to the Danyan of Almora. His father DK Joshi was a PCS officer. Mother Sushma Joshi was a folk singer. In such a situation, he inherited his love for literature. He got an atmosphere of music and literature since childhood. He wrote his first book only at the age of 17. The name of the book was ‘Main Aur Woh’.
Prasoon Joshi is the chairman of the censor board.
In the year 2017, Prasoon Joshi was made the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification. He is still in the same position. Apart from being the chairman of the Censor Board, Prasoon Joshi is also the CEO of McCann World.
