What is the matter?
This matter started last month, when BCCI Secretary Jai Shah objected to the Indian team going to Pakistan for the Asia Cup to be held in 2023 and said that the Asia Cup tournament should be organized at some other place.
Responding to this statement, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Rameez Raja in an interview given to Urdu News on Friday said, “If Pakistan does not play in the ODI World Cup to be held in India next year, then who will see it. Our stand is clear, if Indian cricket team comes to Pakistan then only Pakistan cricket team will go for Bharat World Cup. We will adopt an aggressive path. Our team is in form at the moment.
He said, “I have always said that we need to improve the economy of Pakistan cricket and that can only happen if we perform well. We defeated India in the 2021 T20 World Cup. We beat India in the T20 Asia Cup. In one year, the Pakistan cricket team defeated a team with a billion dollar economy twice.
