No matter how many troops are sent to Kashmir, there will be no result: Mehbooba Mufti
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti has said that Kashmir is connected to India through the Constitution, but the BJP has destroyed this Constitution as well. India does not belong to BJP only.
Taking a dig at the Kashmir policy of the central government, Mufti said, “Until you (government) do not solve the Kashmir issue, you will not get any result here, no matter how much army you send here.”
Earlier, Mehbooba Mufti was asked by the Jammu and Kashmir administration to vacate the quarters given to her in Anantnag district. Earlier, he was also asked to vacate the bungalow located on the posh Gupkar Road.
Mehbooba Mufti and three other former MLAs have received notices to vacate their quarters from the Executive Magistrate of Anantnag on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Anantnag.
Notices have been issued to three former MLAs Abdul Rahim Rather, Abdul Majeed Butt and Mohammad Altaf Wani to vacate government quarters numbered 4, 6 and 1 within 24 hours. Mehbooba Mufti is living in quarter number 7.
