Rahul Gandhi worshiped in the court of Mahakal, visited Jyotirling for the second time in seven days
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday offered prayers with rituals at the famous Mahakal temple of Lord Shiva in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul entered Ujjain. Rahul was seen wearing a red dhoti. He performed all the rituals under the guidance of the temple priests. The priests of the temple presented him a stole. After performing the rituals, Rahul Gandhi bowed before the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. He also sat for some time near the idol of Nandi (the sacred bull considered to be the vehicle of Lord Shiva) in the temple premises.
After that Rahul Gandhi reached Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Shri Mahavir Tapobhoomi located in Ujjain. Here he visited Jain religious leaders and took blessings. Rahul also performed aarti here. They stayed here for a long time.
Reached Omkareshwar temple on 23 November

In these 7 days, Rahul Gandhi has reached the Jyotirlinga temple dedicated to Lord Shiva for the second time. Earlier, when his Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Madhya Pradesh on November 23, Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and family members had reached the famous Omkareshwar temple in Khandwa district. There he attended the aarti of Maa Narmada at Brahmpuri Ghat. Rahul had performed aarti and worship at the famous Shiva temple, one of the 12 ‘Jyotirlingas’ of the country.
