Senior NDTV journalist and social worker M Atharuddin Munne Bharti was honored with the National Law Day Award at the Supreme Court’s Indian Law Institute by the Indian Council of Jurists for his work in the social sector apart from journalism. Life time award was given to Munne Bharti in the electronic and print media sector who has been working in electronic and print media for almost 25 years. Presently working as Senior Journalist in NDTV. Munne Bharti is the first journalist, who has done social work while doing journalism, in Gram Panchayat Karneji of Patehdi Belsar block of Bihar state, with the help of the MP fund of 5-6 Rajya Sabha MPs, has done the work of crores of rupees in the village, which has contributed to the construction of sub-health center building, Urdu Has set a record by building school building, construction of cemetery boundary wall, road, etc. While, due to lack of administrative cooperation, crores of MP funds went back.
