Uttarakhand / Almora : Here the henchman pounced on 3 people, tore the young man’s hand, threw the woman away by pressing her teeth, people in panic

Panic spread in Tok Bhaura of Malli Mirai, Dwarahat development block of Almora, when a young man and two women who were repairing a water tap were brutally attacked by a henchman. Due to this, all three were seriously injured, out of which one woman and youth were referred to Higher Center due to more injuries, while the third injured woman also suffered serious injuries. His treatment is going on in CHC only.

The incident happened around 4 pm

The incident is of Tok Bhaura of Malli Mirai of the development block. At around 4 pm Sumit Kumar’s son Harish Kumar was fixing the water tap near his house, while his mother Pushpa Devi and neighbor’s woman Bachuli Devi were standing next to him. Just then, Guldar, who had entered the township from the side of the forest, suddenly attacked Sumit. The henchman pounced on both the women who were trying to save him.

All three got serious injuries

During the attack, the henchman threw Bachuli Devi away, due to which she suffered serious injuries to her eyes, hands, head. At the same time, Sumit’s henchman tore off his right hand, while his mother Pushpa Devi’s back was deeply dented. Guldar ran towards the forest after hearing the scream. While the villagers gathered and took the injured to the Community Health Center.

What did the doctor say

Dr. Devendra Kumar and Dr. Tulika treated the injured. Told that Bachuli Devi’s eyes and hands were hurt along with her head due to being thrown by Guldar. The mouth is swollen. Sumit’s right hand is torn apart by teeth. For this reason both are being referred to the Higher Center. While Pushpa Devi’s treatment is going on in CHC only.

Fury among the villagers

The incident, which happened in broad daylight, has created fear and anger against the department in the area. Social worker Narayan Rawat told that the information about Guldar’s terror in the area was given to the Forest Department for a long time. But no action has been taken so far as to peep into the area. He has demanded immediate compensation to the injured and getting them rid of the terror of Guldar by putting cages. There is anger among the people against the Forest Department for not taking any step despite the continuous information of Guldar’s terror in the area. The villagers have again reiterated their demand for setting up cages in the area, along with providing treatment and compensation to the injured at the earliest.

Each of the injured has been given an unnecessary amount of Rs. Caging will be done on Tuesday morning.
