Uttarakhand: Winter session begins with Congress MLAs on strike, opposition set to create ruckus!

The winter session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly has started from today. Even before the commencement of the session, Congress MLAs Tilakraj Behad, Bhuvan Kapri, Rajendra Bhandari, Madan Singh Bisht have sat on a dharna in the assembly regarding law and order. All the Congress MLAs are protesting by sitting on the steps of the assembly. MLA Tilakraj is sitting on a dharna with a poster in his hand. In which it is written ‘The condition of hooliganism in Kichha, that there is no fear of uniform…’
Uttarakhand Vidhansabha winter session 2022 has started with the dharna of Congress MLAs. It is clear from this that the very first day of the session will be turbulent. The opposition has prepared a strategy to surround the government on law and order in the House. However, on the other hand, the government is also talking about complete homework.
The proceedings of the assembly have started from 11 am. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while replying to the question of discussion on law and order by the Congress under Rule 310, said that the government will present its point very clearly in the House. Whatever steps have been taken by the state government regarding law and order will be brought to the fore.
At the same time, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya also told in a conversation with the media before going to the House that under Rule 310, the main opposition Congress will demand from the government to discuss the poor law and order situation in the state. Targeting the state government, Yashpal Arya said that the government will be demanded to discuss serious matters like loot, dacoity and rape happening in the state today.
