Uttar Pradesh: Coming out of jail, the woman accused the policeman of gang rape in the Meerut police station, complained to the SSP

After coming out on bail after 44 days, the woman accused police personnel of gang rape at Nauchandi police station. SP City Piyush Singh says that the allegations of the woman are baseless.
The woman said that there was a dispute over the holding of a fair at Nauchandi Maidan, due to which the police had arrested her 45 days ago. One night the woman was kept in Nauchandi police station. The woman alleges that three policemen, including the sub-inspector, have been gang-raped in the police station.
On Thursday, the woman reached the SSP office and gave a complaint letter against the three policemen including the inspector. CO Cantt Rupali Rai, who was listening to the complaint at the SSP office, assured the woman to investigate the matter. It is alleged that gang-rape was committed in the room taken out of lock-up in the police station premises.
The woman has also accused the policemen of taking money. SP City says that the woman was sent to jail for blackmailing. The allegations made by the woman are wrong in the preliminary investigation. CCTV cameras are installed in the police station. That too will be seen.
