In a shared press conference, Joe Biden said, “There is a way to end this war. First Putin gets his army out of Ukraine. But it doesn’t look like he’s going to do that. It is paying a heavy price but they are causing civilian deaths in Ukraine in an unbelievable way. They are bombing hospitals, schools, nursery schools. What they are doing is disgusting.”
“But the fact is that I have no plans to contact President Putin immediately. If he has any interest in ending the war, I am ready to talk to him. If that happens, I would be happy to sit down with Putin, in consultation with my French and NATO friends. What Emmanuel said is very important. We must support the people of Ukraine.”
During this, Emmanuel Macron said that France and America need to unite against the war in Ukraine. He told reporters that it is necessary to include Ukraine in any talks with Russia.
He said, “We will never demand from the people of Ukraine to make a settlement that they do not want because it will not lead to lasting peace. If we want lasting peace, we have to respect the decision of the people of Ukraine to When and on what terms do you want to negotiate about your land and future.”

Ukraine alleges Russia is using special missiles
