‘Arvind Kejriwal uprooted BJP’s 15 years of power from Delhi’ Punjab

According to the initial figures, BJP has won 102 seats while AAP has won 132 seats. Whereas, Congress has won nine seats. Aam Aadmi Party has won from Kapaseda Ward No. 132 by 1484 votes. BJP has won from Geeta Colony Ward No. 210.

The results of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections have started pouring in. After the counting of votes began at 8 am on Wednesday, the initial trends showed a close fight between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party, which has been in power in the MCD for the last 15 years.

As per the initial figures, BJP has won 102 seats while AAP has won 132 seats. The Congress has won nine seats. Aam Aadmi Party has won from Kapaseda Ward No. 132 by 1484 votes. BJP has won from Geeta Colony Ward No. 210. BJP candidate Shikha Rai has won the Greater Kailash seat. BJP’s Munesh has won from Kondli. INC’s Nazia Danish won from Zakir Nagar Ward No. 189 by 485 votes.

On the other hand, BJP candidate and former mayor Avtar Singh has lost the election from Camp Line ward. Whereas, BJP candidate Manoj Kumar Jindal has won from Shastri Nagar ward number 70. The enthusiasm of his supporter workers outside was worth seeing. BJP’s Sanjeev Singh won from Ashok Nagar Ward No. 190 in East Delhi. In Ward No. 189, Congress Party’s Nazia Khan has got 16,878 votes while Aam Aadmi Party’s Salma Khan has got 16405 votes, here Nazia Danish has won.

▪️Ariba Khan, daughter of former Congress MLA Asif Mohammad Khan, has won from Ward 188.

▪️Aam Aadmi Party candidate Urmila Gautam has won from Karol Bagh’s Tank Road Regar Pura ward number 83.
