Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar said on Thursday that the results of the Gujarat assembly elections have come as expected, but they do not reflect the mood of the country. In the counting of votes for the Gujarat Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is moving towards a historic victory by winning 93 out of 182 seats and leading in 64 seats.

Gujarat election results do not tell the mood of the country
Addressing the NCP’s state executive meeting, Pawar said, “Gujarat elections came as expected because the entire machinery of power was deployed for a particular state and projects were sent there.” The former Union minister said. “Gujarat election results do not tell the mood of the country. This has been proved by the results of Municipal Corporation in Delhi and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, where BJP lost.

Congress wins in Himachal
Let us tell you that on the one hand, while the BJP is heading towards a landslide victory in Gujarat, the Congress party is moving towards returning to power in Himachal. According to the latest trends, Congress has won 29 out of total 68 assembly seats while it is leading in 10 seats. On the other hand, BJP has so far won 16 seats and is leading in 10 seats. Overall, a close fight is going on between BJP and Congress in Himachal. As of now, it is difficult to ascertain whose government will be formed in the state. On the other hand, in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections held yesterday, the Aam Aadmi Party showed the way out to the BJP, which has been ruling the Municipal Corporation for 15 years.
