Uttarakhand : Dhami cabinet will churn in Mana village, date will be decided soon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Uttarakhand, had given a message from the border village Mana on October 21 that every village situated on the border of the country is the first village for him. Keeping this in view, steps are being taken for the development of these villages. Now the state government has also decided to take effective steps for their overall development, considering the marginal villages as the first villages. For this, ‘Chief Minister First Village Integrated Development Scheme’ will be started soon. Soon, by organizing a cabinet meeting in the first village, the government will start brainstorming for the development of the villages there. Meanwhile, this scheme is also ready to be launched.

The border villages of Uttarakhand are also not untouched by migration

The border villages of Uttarakhand, adjacent to the border of China and Nepal, are also not untouched by migration. In view of this, the government has decided to pay special attention to these villages. For their development, the blueprint of Chief Minister’s First Village Integrated Development Scheme has almost been prepared.

Under this, along with expansion of basic facilities in the first villages, emphasis will be laid on livelihood development there. Apart from running employment-oriented schemes in areas like tourism, pilgrimage, agriculture, horticulture in these villages, there is preparation to run the schemes of different departments simultaneously. The plan will be finalized soon. The Dhami government will soon organize a cabinet meeting in the first village and try to give this message that it is sensitive about the overall development of the border villages. Sources said that the selection of the first village and the date of the meeting would be decided soon. After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami can launch the plan being prepared for the development of these villages.

All villages will become ideal by 2025

The Dhami government has resolved to bring Uttarakhand in the category of best states of the country by the year 2025. In this series, the government has a target of making all the villages including the border villages ideal villages. According to Director Panchayati Raj Banshidhar Tiwari, villages of Champawat district are being taken up in the first phase.

Gradually other districts will be included in the Adarsh Gram Yojana. Under the scheme, basic facilities will be rapidly mobilized in the villages. Along with this, steps will be taken for livelihood development there. Apart from this, efforts will also be made for street lights, sports grounds, open gyms, waste management etc. in the villages.

The aim of the government is to develop every village of the state as a model village. Apart from providing all kinds of basic facilities there, measures for cleanliness, livelihood promotion will be taken. Soon we will hold our cabinet meeting in some village. Marginal villages will be considered as first villages and for their overall development Mukhyamantri Pratham Gram Samekit Vikas Yojana will be started.
