Uttarakhand : 500 page charge sheet prepared in Ankita Bhandari murder case, 30 strong evidences, will be presented in court till Monday

Finally, the SIT team has sent the PO to file a 500-page charge sheet with statements of 100 witnesses and sufficient 30 evidences regarding the Ankita Bhandari murder case. The charge sheet will be filed on Monday. Today, information has been given during the special press conference of ADG LO and SIT DIG at Police Headquarters. Please inform that the SIT team had to file the charge sheet within 90 days. This term was ending on 20 December. SIT team is filing charge sheet on Monday before 90 days. Along with this, if the narco polygraph test of the accused is done, then its report will be filed in the supplementary charge sheet.

Now this process will happen

At present, one of the 3 accused has asked the court for 10 days time for the narco test. The time of the court will be completed from 22 December. After this, as per the permission of the court, narco tests of all three will be done. After that, on the basis of the report of the test, the work of adding some important tasks of the investigation will be done. If the question asked in the test report matches with the investigation, then it will be included in the investigation and filed in the second supplementary charge sheet.

SIT claims

The SIT is continuously claiming that it was done in a fair and transparent manner against the accused in the Ankita Bhandari murder case. So far enough evidence is with the police in the investigation. On the basis of which the charge sheet will be filed on Monday. After preparing the charge sheet, a case has been registered against the three accused Pulkit Arya, Saurabh and Ankit under section 302/201/120B/354A and the Unethical Business Prevention Act.

ADG V Murugesan held a press conference

In the Ankita Bhandari case, Uttarakhand Police’s ADG V Murugesan has given a lot of information in a press conference. He has said that while probing the Ankita Bhandari murder case, the SIT has prepared a charge sheet of 500 pages within 90 days. It will probably be filed in the court on Monday. V Murugesan told that about 100 people have been questioned in this matter. Further investigation of SIT will continue in this matter. If needed, narco test and polygraph test will also be done.

What is the matter

Please tell that 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari was a receptionist at Vanantra resort located in Yamkeshwar block area. The Vanantra resort belongs to Pulkit Arya, son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya. It is alleged that Pulkit Arya was pressurizing Ankita Bhandari to provide special service (wrong work) to the guests coming to the resort, for which Ankita Bhandari refused. For this reason, there was a debate between Ankita Bhandari and Pulkit Arya. For this reason, Ankita Bhandari was about to leave the job as well.

It is alleged that Pulkit Arya was afraid that Ankita Bhandari would expose the wrongdoings happening in the resort and her secret. Due to this fear, Pulkit Arya took Ankita Bhandari to Rishikesh on some pretext after an argument on September 18 evening. During this, Pulkit Arya was accompanied by his two managers Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta. All three had told the police in their Iqbal-e-Jurm that on the evening of September 18, they killed Ankita by pushing her into the Chilla canal in the middle of the way. Ankita’s dead body was recovered from Chilla canal on 24 September. All the three accused are currently lodged in jail. To investigate this matter, the government had constituted an SIT under the leadership of DIG P Renuka, which is probing the matter.
